Location is fabulous as we had tickets to a show at Charleston Music Hall. Every member of the staff was friendly and helpful, remembered us and details about our stay. They are pet friendly. The rooms are more sound proof than most hotels which is wonderful for great nights sleep but also for having pups stay calm when in the room.

Location was excellent. Could not have been better. The rooms are a bit outdated. Old carpet, worn furniture, etc. The bed was hard. Overall, we will go back just because of the location.

There was no microwave or mini fridge in the room. That made it difficult to store my medicine , and impossible to heat up leftover restaurant meals. There was a drawer on the dresser that wouldn't stay closed and we kept hitting our shins on it. The pillows were dreadful. The place looked old and not updated. It was the pits paying $41 a day for parking.

The Hilton in Historic Charleston is a beautiful well cared for 200 year old building. It is clean, great breakfast and the parking building is right next door. With the free shuttles right across the street it makes touring the city perfect. It is within walking distance to some great restaurants, shopping and Museums. The staff is 5 star, its a great place.
