The Space:

Private cottage, with open kitchen & living spa fully appointed for your vacation. Calming cypress wood interiors and modern clean design offer an oasis in the heart of historic downtown Charleston. Comfortable bedrooms, equipped with hotel style linens & product, and en suite bathrooms. 2 level private cottage. Enjoy your stay with ease, with all of downtown's best right at your doorstep.



'Driftwood' at the Dune cottages accommodates up to 9 guests between 3 bedrooms & 3 baths.



Flex Bedroom #1 – King bed (or two twins) & Twin bed + Ensuite bathroom

Bedroom #2 – Queen bed + Ensuite bathroom

Guest Access:

Each Town & Island Co. unit is equipped with coded locks and unique codes that are changed regularly. You will receive all important check-in information 3 days prior to arrival.

Early check-in or late check-out requests are evaluated and granted on a case-by-case basis. We offer a luggage storage space with a coded lock to the rear of the blue building at the front of the property (56 A & B) for all Blue Haven and Dune Cottages guests to use as needed.

Pet Policy: Town & Island Co. welcomes pets. There is a $75 non refundable pet fee. 2 pets maximum. You are responsible to inform us you are traveling with your pet(s).



Severe Weather Policy: If a Mandatory Evacuation Order is issued by the Governor of SC, your stay will be refunded. However, if a Mandatory Evacuation Order is NOT issued by the Governor of SC, then the standard cancellation policy will still apply and no refund will be issued.

W3 thoroughly enjoyed staying at the Driftwood. It was perfect for our college roommate weekend. There was 6 of us, and the property was perfect. Plenty of space and the location was GREAT. Property was very clean and newly renovated with a well stocked kitchen and comfortable rooms. It was fairly quiet however with some construction noise next door during daytime hours only. The flex room was spacious with space to unpack, however other rooms had only a single narrow closet with a hanging rack forcing us to live out of our suitcases. Parking in spots 6/7 was challenging to maneuver in and out, not much room to turn around. Location was good with a few restaurants and shops within walking distance. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend to others.
