Charming, dog-friendly beach house downstairs

Charming, dog friendly and affordable two bedroom/two bathroom downstairs of house, located at 215 Charleston Blvd., Isle of Palms, SC, is just a short walk to the beach! (See photo of beach access...just 449 feet) Only 0.5 mile to Sullivan's Island and 10 miles to downtown Charleston.
Features include: Ground floor for easy access, spacious, fenced backyard for dogs and deck with grill and room for dining, fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, WIFI, cable television and DVD player in Living Room, Washer/Dryer. LINENS INCLUDED.
Both bathrooms are equipped small shower stalls but the rental also has a more spacious outdoor shower with hot water just for the downstairs rental.

Dog considered with a $175 non refundable pet fee. The check box stating: "I am traveling with pets" needs to be checked. This option is under the "Guest" section, directly beside the "Where to?" box and the "Dates" box you fill out when you are initially starting your search.
If a dog is brought without selecting and paying the pet fee, a $175 charge will be automatically added to the total rental amount. This method is used so that non-pet renters will not be automatically charged the pet fee.
Make yourself comfortable in this air-conditioned condo, featuring a kitchen with a refrigerator and an oven. There's a private patio. This was the perfect long weekend get away! The home had everything we needed, a beautiful back yard that was perfect for hanging out in - and fenced it with plenty of room for our pup to play around in. We both agreed this was the most organized VRBO we've ever been in. It had everything you needed to cook from home. A very quick talk to the beach. It was perfect.

We had a very pleasant stay at the house. The owners (who live upstairs) were very nice to chat with and very accommodating. We had our pooch with us, and having the fenced backyard area was very nice for her. The beaches were just a short walk from the house; we were on the sand in less than five minutes. We would definitely stay here again!

Great yard for dog(s), super close to beach

We were in town for a wedding with family and dogs…. Fabulous fenced in backyard and short walk to beach made it super let friendly. The barbecue and outdoor shower added to the outdoor living experience. Will come back!

This is a downstairs unit so there was a little bit of a noise issue with people walking around and a barking dog but it didn't cause any major problems. Close to the beach, a nice back yard with a barbeque. If you are a large/ tall person you may find the shower a little tight. The owner was easy to communicate with and checkout was easy.

Plenty of room for us and our two dogs who are not the best travelers of guests - one is a big puppy and one is high maintenance :) we felt right at home here and the overall location was perfect for us as well. The place is absolutely wonderful. Great location, lots of supplies and accessories. Bathrooms were small, but having two full bathrooms was wonderful. Outside shower was an amazing option. Lee was very responsive and helpful. They live upstairs but gave total privacy. Highly recommend this listing.

Paradise for our small family with dog

This beach house was perfect for our small family with dog. Two bedrooms and two bathrooms on opposite ends of the property provided privacy, while the dining room, kitchen, and living room gave us ample room to come together. Not to be overlooked is the excellent backyard, fenced for the pooch and plenty of seating and a big umbrella table. Isle of Palms is a fantastic beach--no crowds, just good vibes! The outdoor shower was appreciated for keeping the sand where it belongs. The apartment is stocked with beach gear in case you did not bring your own. Ample excellent restaurants nearby, day trips to Mount Pleasant and Charleston--you will not lack in things to do when you have had your fill of the beach! Lee is an excellent host who goes above and beyond, even shipped back my son's toiletry bag that he left (oops!). If you have hesitations about staying in a downstairs apartment with owner above, let me assure you that Lee is there when you need him, but scarce when you don't, leaving you free to enjoy your vacation. We are already dreaming about our next visit here!

Perfect location for a quiet getaway!

This apartment was perfect for our family. My husband and I traveled with two daughters, ages 10 & 17. The kitchen is well outfitted with everything you need to prepare meals. Back yard is private and clean. House is super clean. Towels and sheets provided were comfy. Tile floors keep clean. A/C kept the unit cool and comfortable. I loved the outside shower for cool water bathing, and it also has hot water if you want. It is really close to the beach! The access point is #3. It’s in a low traffic area so it’s very quiet. Hosts were easy to communicate with as they live upstairs. They made sure we had what we needed for the beach and they had a useful notebook of info for dining out, attractions, and services. Would definitely stay here again. My only word to a few who would maybe need it is this…IF you have a physically large person in the group, they may have some challenges with one of the toilets and the inside showers. They’re small. My husband is 6’3”, 300lbs. He fit and was okay, but larger than that and it would have been hard. The rest of us were unfazed by the size. So it works for most folks. This only matters for larger or less mobile folks.

Cute and close to the beach!

Super clean and close to the beach! This house was quiet and I felt very safe staying by myself. The backyard and outdoor shower were perfect. Will definitely be staying here again.
