Cozy Pool & Hot Tub Retreat by Casino

Splash, soak, repeat. This private 2-bedroom, 2-bath retreat sits just over a mile from Hollywood Casino, with a fenced backyard built entirely for downtime: a heated saltwater pool (May–October), a year-round Cal Spa hot tub, a gas grill, a smokeless gas fire pit, and a wood fire pit for real campfire nights.

Inside, both bedrooms have a queen bed, and there are two full bathrooms — nobody waits their turn. The kitchen has stainless steel appliances and butcher block counters. There`s a washer and dryer, WiFi, and a smart TV where you can sign into your own streaming accounts or watch Tubi free. Towels are provided.

The backyard is why people book. It`s fully fenced and yours alone — no shared amenities, no neighbors passing through. The pool is open May through October and the hot tub runs all year.

The entire home is yours, with parking for four or more cars off a quiet gravel alley. Self check-in with a smart lock: once your booking confirms, you`ll receive a code that works only for your dates. No app to download, nothing to set up.

Charles Town puts a lot within reach. Hollywood Casino and Charles Town Races are just over a mile away, Jefferson Memorial Park and a good spread of restaurants are minutes from the door, and Harpers Ferry, Shepherdstown, and Antietam are all a short drive.

House rules

Occupancy

Only guests listed on the reservation may stay or visit the property.
No smoking anywhere inside the home.

Pool and hot tub area

No glass, glassware, or bottles inside the fence — the area is used barefoot.
Pets are welcome at the property but not inside the fenced pool area. Nails tear the pool liner, and waste cleanup there directly affects the next guests. Assistance animals must remain under the handler`s control and are not to be left unattended.
Never swim alone. An adult must be present any time the pool or hot tub is in use.
Children must be supervised by an adult at all times in the fenced area.
No running, jumping, or diving.

The home

Please don`t move or relocate indoor furniture.
Please keep exterior doors closed while the heat or AC is running — we`re notified when a door is left open more than two minutes, and the thermostat may be set to hold for the rest of the stay.

Equipment and systems

The thermostat is set anywhere between 68 and 75 degrees — pick whatever`s comfortable in that range. Please don`t change any settings beyond the temperature.
The pool is heated and set at 78 degrees for the season, May through October. It`s a large body of water, so outside air temperature moves it a few degrees either way. The heater is locked and stays at a consistent setting all season.
Do not tamper with, unplug, cover, or relocate exterior cameras, door locks, the router or WiFi equipment, or any appliance.

Scheduled service — two crews may come by during your stay, and neither enters the home:

Pool and spa: weekly, usually Wednesday or Thursday, sometime between 9 AM and 3 PM. They adjust temperature levels, balance the water, and clean the pool. Backyard only — they don`t need to come inside — and usually under 30 minutes.
Lawn care: weekly. We try to schedule between stays, but their timing isn`t always ours. They`ll also top off the pool if it`s low and clear out any grass that gets in. Yard access only, under an hour.

Checkout

Leave used towels and linens in a pile on the bathroom floor.
Load dishes into the dishwasher and start it.
Take the trash out to the bin.
Set the thermostat to 75 in summer, or 68 in winter.

Guests who violate these rules will be asked to leave immediately and are responsible for the full cost of any resulting service or repair as billed by our contractors, plus a 16% administrative fee for coordinating it. If the issue affects the next guest`s stay, the responsible guest is also liable for the resulting lost income.
