Our stay
The villa lay out is very nice, the beds were very comfortable and location great. Few minute walk to the bus stop, beach and local shops. The owner was there on arrival and exchanged numbers in case of any issues. He was nice and polite and spoke great English.We did unfortunately encounter a few issues during our stay.The local neighbours have 2 outdoor dogs who bark at anything going past which was very annoying.The glass roof of the bedroom corridor leaked the first few days as it was raining which was followed by condensation dripping constantly for days so we mopped up numerous times to avoid anyone slipping.One morning 3 men appeared in the garden, they were gardeners mowing the lawn at 7:30, woke the whole house. I messaged the owner to say is this a joke? He said he didn’t know they were coming that early and apologised. They shouldn’t be coming at all whilst we were there and not expecting anyone. This happened again when the pool cleaner came. The white small square filter cover you see around the pool fell through when stepped on and injured someone’s foot. We made him aware and he said he’d send someone to fix in 3 days. No one came, we kept a lounger over it for the next week to avoid any more accidents. We were then charged 30 on check out from our deposit for it. I did complain as for me there’s nothing to say don’t walk on them and it’s wear and tear so we shouldn’t be charged, Especially after the other issues we had. Such a shame after a great stay.
