Location was excellent, and the property was clean and looked lovely. Communication wasn’t great, the booking states check out is noon (12) yet we had staff banging on the door at 11 asking us when we would be leaving, apparently they changed check out time after covid… well I’m not a mind reader? The room looked great however the large rug was a major slip hazard as the Velcro underneath has lost its stick, at least one of us went flying every day, and the wooden floors meant we were kept up at all hours by the people upstairs. There isn’t a 24/7 desk service, I think I saw someone on the desk twice across the whole week, wasn’t really an issue but we couldn’t mention about the noise and they advertise this service. We still had a lovely time, and for the price this was not a bad hotel, but I would review other options if we return to Chania.
