What should have been a joyful wedding anniversary stay at Isla Brown Hilton Chania, Crete a 5 days stay, turned into one of the most cruel and humiliating experiences we’ve ever had at a hotel. 💔
On approaching the receptionist Alexandros to request a second key to our Deluxe Seaview Junior suite, he refused to greet us, avoided eye contact, and rudely denied us a second key to our suite. The next day, after personally calling for housekeeping, fresh sheets, and 2 pillows, we came back hours later to find our room untouched — a deliberate act that felt like bullying and discrimination.
When we brought this to the General Manager, instead of resolving it, he dismissed us, defended the staff, and even insinuated we were lying. Yet, the very pillows we requested magically appeared in our room later. The contradiction was undeniable.
No couple celebrating their anniversary — or any guest — should be treated with such disrespect, cruelty, and lack of hospitality at a Hilton resort. This experience has left us shocked, exhausted, and deeply disappointed.
