We had a fantastic stay over the Easter weekend. Staff were so welcoming and helpful but not intrusive. The breakfast was lovely and plentiful we did not need lunch. We ate at the restaurant for dinner (slow cooked Easter lamb) which was delicious. Chania itself is charming

Hotel staff was great! Always willing to help and guide us on what to do, where to go and also brought a lot of experience on what would make our experience better. They go out of their way to accommodate and help. Breakfast was delicious and one of the best I’ve had and it by itself was a great experience. Room and hotel made the whole stay in chania perfect, as it feels you are staying in part of history with all the amenities and it is a well kept property.

It was a privilege to stay at Domus Renier, a 10 roomed boutique hotel. This historical building has been totally transformed in a contemporary style that sits comfortably and elegantly with its heritage. It’s in a perfect location in the old city along the Venetian harbour. It ‘s rear entrance takes you into the myriad of laneways of the old town. The staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. They took time to help you plan your day and make suggestions in planning an itinerary. The breakfast was a highlight, commencing with a 3 tier presentation at each table of freshly made smoothies, yoghurt or chia cups, and pastries followed by a selection of freshly cooked breakfast choices. We felt truly spoilt in so many ways.

Tucked right in the heart of Chania's old port, this hotel manages to feel grand and intimate at the same time — the building itself is steeped in history and absolutely beautiful, and the rooms are just as stunning as the exterior promises. Every detail has been thought through, and yet nothing feels fussy or overdone. The staff are what truly made the stay unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel completely at home — warm, attentive, and genuinely happy to help with anything. Breakfast was delicious, beautifully presented, and the perfect way to start each morning before stepping out into the port. Honestly, we couldn't find a single thing to complain about. The location is unbeatable, the property is breathtaking, and the hospitality is the kind you remember long after you've left. We're already dreaming of coming back.
