Close to bus station which is useful if you have a late flight arrival and are travelling on by bus. Friendly and helpful reception. Comfortable rooms. Chania itself is a great place to visit.

Hotel Diane is very convenient to the bus station (virtually across the street) and just a few blocks from the historic Old Town area of Chania. There's nothing fancy about it, though it had a balcony, the room is comfortable (bed a little harder than some), and the price is right.

Great little stopover place

We've stayed here 3 times now as each time we come to Chania we need to be near the bus station. The owner is always very friendly, the room is clean with a roomy balcony and pleasant garden

An airy compact room perfect for solo travelers who intend to spend much of the day out and about. Updated clean bathroom with clean bath linen, comfortable single bed with crisp clean sheets and extra blankets if needed. Very tidy, well lit and with all basic amenities ( an extra kitchen cloth would be nice). Centrally located, close to the KTEL bus station (great for transportation needs) and yet well insulated from external noise (my room did have a barn/top hanging sliding door which let in a little light and noise from the landing but that was infrequent). Very helpful, accommodating host.

A toxic smelling gas was emanating from the shower drain when we returned from a late dinner. We didn’t use the bathroom for the rest of our visit, keeping the door closed and towels blocking the bottom. Slept with the door to the porch wide open all night and left as soon as possible in the morning.
