I was extremely disappointed with my stay at this hotel. Everything seemed fine at first, but when it was time to lay down and I turned off the lights, I started seeing multiple roaches crawling around the room — on the walls and near the bed. It was absolutely disgusting and made it impossible to relax or sleep. I immediately felt uncomfortable and couldn’t believe a hotel room would be in such poor condition. For the price I paid, this was completely unacceptable. The management really needs to take care of their pest control and cleanliness before renting out rooms to guests. I would not recommend staying here until this issue is properly addressed.

Coffee maker did not work in room 223, ac did not seem to keep up with cooling the room stayed hot in the room most the day & night, dish washer had a note for back ordered parts, tv channels were not accurate for what was listed.

The hotel, staff....all were great. However, the mattress was absolutely horrible. I had a bad night of sleep because it was difficult to sleep on such a mushy, old mattress. I had a friend in another room and she said the same thing. For this reason, I would not ever return to this location.

We traveled to Champaign for a 90th birthday celebration and spent a week at Candlewood. It was quiet, clean, and comfortable. Very nice friendly staff. The exercise facility was above average.

Was criticized by front desk staff for booking through expedia. Was told several times that they don't like it when people book through expedia or third party apps. Was moved to a double queen after booking a king. TV didn't work and the elevator was scary.

The motel was off the main streets so there was a lot less traffic. The staff was amazing--so helpful and friendly. They went out of their way to make us feel at home. The housekeepers did a great job keeping the whole place very clean. All in all, it was a great experience and we will be back!
