This hotel is amazing, very nice location, walkable, the room was a bit small but I had a balcony and that made it feel slightly better. The staff is amazing and very friendly. I would recommend staying here if you want to stay in the heart of Chamonix.

Would not stay again.

I’ve stayed here before and had a nice room for less money. It had central air and a great view. Room 407. For this stay, my room (room 100) was on the first floor with no view. Albeit a larger space, it was an oddly shaped room with the bed very close to the window and the locked partition door to the room next door. We could hear the neighbors easily. I was woken up a few times during the night. This room was also warm and muggy. It did not have central air either and was warm and muggy. I called the front desk and the told me to open the window. It was raining outside and made the room more muggy. It was a warm nights sleep. The shower basin was also cracked and felt hollow underneath. Did not feel sturdy.

Brilliant stay

Great spot for exploring the area and well placed for shops and food in the centre of Chamonix. We booked a room with a mountain view and were lucky enough to be on the Mont Blanc side of the hotel. Worth checking when you book/before you check in. The room itself was all great. No air conditioning, but we didn't need it as it's cooler in the mountains than elsewhere in July. The only thing missing from the room were tea and coffee making facilities.
