This airy ground-floor apartment, with lovely outdoor spaces and mountain views, makes the perfect destination for an exciting holiday at any time of year.

The apartment, which sleeps 4 people, is in a modern residence, on a quiet street, just a 2 minute walk from the centre of Chamonix. The living area is full of light, thanks to large windows looking out over the garden to the mountains beyond. A glass door leads onto a paved terrace with a table and chair, where guests can relax and enjoy the wonderful views. Back indoors, there are two sofas, a flat-screen TV and a dining area for six. The separate kitchen has been beautifully fitted out and is equipped with a combined cooker/induction hob, oven, microwave, fridge, dishwasher and drip coffee machine.

Bedroom: The master bedroom, with a double bed and bookcase, has a glass door onto the terrace with direct access to the private garden.
Extra: The sofa in the living room converts into a comfortable double bed.

Wonderful location and excellent view. Easy to get to all that is happening in Chamonix within easy walking distance. Return is a pretty steep hill but just something to be aware of. The place was oddly dated but also had some updates. The space is a strange arrangement but also cozy. It turned out to be terrific for our needs. No closet space and the shower was barely that. But we were in a beautiful location so who can complain? Also loved the ease of parking!

Good things:The garden is splendid and well maintained.The kitchen is good and modern. The location is very convenient: near the city centre and near one of the gondolas Things that need improvement:The mattress was broken and after 2 days it was replaced. The bathroom is old and need renovation. In general the apartment furniture and facilities are old and poor. There is a bad smell from times to times in the garden.
