We loved every minute of our stay at the Hotel. The staff were incredibly helpful with everything from parking to recommendations about meals and sightseeing and ensuring that all guests were comfortable during an unprecedented heat wave. We loved the location, within short walk of all Cesky Krumlov's many delights, but away from the immediate noise and tourist traffic. Breakfast was fresh and provided a wide range of food options each morning.

We notified staff of our arrival time and they ensured someone was on the property to greet us and allow us to check in early. The space is very clean and quaint. Breakfast had nice hot and cold options, such as eggs, toast, granola, cereals, and a variety of meats, cheeses, and fruit. The location is at the top of a hill, about seven flights of stairs, which makes it a bit of a climb. This really wasn’t an issue, but it was close enough to downtown that we were back and forth from the hotel to downtown multiple times a day, whether it was to grab a jacket, use the bathroom, take a nap, etc. If you’re back and forth like us, just know you’ll be climbing stairs quite a bit. Overall, great stay, great location, and would recommend!

Hotel Villa Areka was clean, conveniently located, comfortable, and in a very quiet part of town. The staff was very accommodating, allowing for early check-in and answering any questions we had about the town. The breakfast was delicious! I will definitely stay here again the next time I visit Cesky Krumlov.
