I got a last minute deal to stay here and for that it was excellent - right in old town and has so much charm and character. I had a small room but it was cozy and the breakfast was excellent. There was one person in reception who was a bit rude but otherwise all good.

Loved my entire stay! The staff were too notch.. the Breakfast buffet was amazing. The location right on the river.. perfect. My stay was mid week and apparently much less crowded. And it was the beginning of the Annual Cesky Krumlov Festival.. free classical music,. I see many reasons why its been named a World Heritage site

What a stunning hotel - most people walk by the outside, not realizing that this is an amazing building from the 16th century. A walk into the main lobby, entry hallway and dining hall alone is amazing. The staff was extremely helpful, and the rooms were impeccably historic in detail down to the polished hardwood knotted floors. This place Service a decent breakfast, which was more than adequate for an early start to go see the town. The big plus that people don’t realize is that taxis are allowed to come to this hotel right to the doorstep and one does not need to drag suitcases over cobblestone streets, like to some of the other hotels in Cheske Krumlav. Book a stay - except like us, do not stay just one night. Can’t wait to come back for a longer stay.
