Rummet hade inte luftkonditionering, men dรคremot en flรคkt som faktiskt fungerade bra ihop med รถppna fรถnster, sรฅ vรคrmen var inget bekymmer. Det enda att anmรคrka pรฅ รคr att det inte fanns mรถjlighet att tรคcka takfรถnstren fรถr mรถrklรคggning. Absolutely perfect! Modern, clean, big room and bathroom, very close to historical old town and allthough above of a bar very silent. The kitchen was clean and well equipped. The room appeared like in a Hotel, but with the advantage of a (common) kitchen like in Hostels. And all this for not even 40โ‚ฌ a night. Thank you a lot!

I don't recommend. The hostel is located above the bar - loud and uncomfortable.

All rooms in the 3rd floor where I stayed are newly refurbished and make for a comfortable stay. There is also brand new kitchen for anyone to use. Historical square is easy 10 mins walk. Overall great value for money in a beautiful city.

Good choice for budget

Took a bit of walk from train station to the hostel. The town itself looked very quite and a bit leftover. Checkin at the bar with the lady bartender with not quite well English speaker, but she was very lovely and tried to help. During the night if you open the windows you will hear noise from people at the bar downstairs. I was there during Summer in August. It was very not and no fan or A/C in the room. But it is very comfy bed and large room.

Was ok....stayed a couple of nights. Rooms ok but stuffy...no fan , no AC.....Noisy from bar below. Clean, nice bathroom, communal area clean and tidy. Cheap. Walkable from station, but Cesky Budejovice was quiet even on a saturday nite. Even Mc Donalds was closed at 8pm!.........find the main town square for a couple of places that stay open.
