As the longest-serving member of the "Gîtes de France" network in Saône-et-Loire (certified since 1979!), Marie-Françoise welcomes you to an authentic, fully renovated and reimagined 19th-century farmhouse, nestled in a residential hamlet perched on a sunny hillside overlooking the historic heart of the village, just a stone's throw away. Cersot, a typical small town of the Côte Chalonnaise region, is made up of several scattered hamlets, nestled in the verdant Guye Valley, within a protected ZNIEFF area renowned for its rich flora and fauna. The area boasts a magnificent rolling countryside, blending agriculture and viticulture with unspoiled nature (perfect for exploring the surrounding area on relaxing walks or mountain bike rides), a succession of bucolic vineyard slopes, vast meadows, wooded hills, ponds and rivers, and beautiful wild forests. A spacious and comfortable gîte. Spacious rooms. Warm country charm with contemporary touches blended with the unique character of a historic home (preserving rich original features: molded doors and frames, built-in cupboards, fireplace mantel, etc.). A slightly vintage feel (including a superb 1950s floor in the kitchen), in the spirit of a welcoming family home.
