La Petrosa is a farm, a park, a place to spend your holidays in the castle, old barns, farm, camping or home, a restaurant, and experience the world of emotions you want. In the heart of the Cilento and Vallo di Diano National Park, our estate of 50 hectares, is crossed by the river Palistro and is immersed in olive trees, eucalyptus, orange groves, orchards, wheat fields, alfalfa, vegetable gardens and Mediterranean scrub. With us there is a playground for children with a swing and slide, a swimming pool with a kiosk, relaxing corners and a green patio where you can read, talk or simply enjoy the peace of nature, you can also practice table tennis, shooting bow and bowls. La Petrosa is also Bike Attitude, with the possibility for everyone to rent the most modern mountain bikes to discover the most suggestive itineraries of Cilento. You can be, if you want accompanied by an expert guide and have dedicated services and menus available and take advantage of a late check-out before departure. We are Pet Friendly and your four-legged friends are welcome! We grow vegetables, fruit, vegetables and ancient grains with which we produce every day wholemeal bread cooked in wood, biscuits, sweets and freselle. With our fruit and vegetables we make preserves, tomato sauce, pickles, jams and marmalades, and from our olives a precious extra virgin olive oil with an intense aroma and a pleasantly fruity taste. We breed chickens, rabbits and chickens, goats and cows and produce cheeses, fresh and aged. In the morning we start with a very rich breakfast with fresh milk, fruit, fresh eggs, bread and jam, sweet and savory goodness. Our restaurant, open for lunch and dinner, offers the best traditional dishes prepared with the farm products. All the cultivations of the products take place according to the organic techniques of organic regenerative agriculture, based on simple agronomic, economic and ecological principles and all the products can be purchased at the company workshop.
These ancient granaries, with their typical circular shape, today are four original mini apartments, perfect for a holiday in complete autonomy but with all the comforts of La Petrosa. On two levels, for a total of 30 square meters, each barn has an equipped ground floor with kitchenette, fridge, table with chairs (both inside and outside) and a double sofa bed (suitable for two children up to twelve), on the first floor a double bed, built-in wardrobe, bathroom with shower and balcony. The apartment has air conditioning and all openings are equipped with mosquito nets. The ROOM FORMULA includes a rich breakfast, bed linen with weekly change and three of a kind bathroom with weekly change, daily cleaning, WI-FI in the common areas, swimming pool, playground for children, sports equipment, private parking not guarded. If you have chosen the half-board formula the price also includes lunch or dinner at our restaurant with the daily menu. The HOUSE FORMULA IN THE FIELDS includes bed linen and bath towels with weekly change, pots and pans, consumptions, WI-FI in the common areas, swimming pool, playground for children, sports equipment, private parking not guarded. Final cleaning fee: € 30.00. Rich breakfast in the farmhouse € 5.00 person. Lunch and / or dinner a la carte or menu of the day at € 20.00 per person (water, wine and coffee included)
