It was nice to have a balcony. You could see part of the ocean through the trees. I tried to extend my stay but they tried to raise the rate to high so I had to go to another hotel. You could hear the people above me walking around and they woke me up twice during the night. I had to fix the gas fire place. They do not have much for breakfast. For the price they should have some hot chocolate and a few more snacks or fuit. Was not a bad place but they tried to over charge for the king tide time.

There is to much to say on this bad vacation turned nightmare, but the rooms water had a sulfur smell, the shower and toilet was designed for someone that's 4". It was awful just trying to bend over to wash my hair. The staff was rarely seen and don't even try to get toilet paper, no one is at the counter. Depoe Bay and Newport is a very scary place nowadays, so don't travel alone and definitely don't go out at night.

We checked in after waiting a while for someone to come to the front desk. Room was on the bottom floor north side of building. “View” was mostly the road, buildings and tress with the ocean back there somewhere. Room smelled horrible. Damp. Dank. Musty. All the words. Definitely a pet room and my daughter is allergic. Room next door had a dog barking non stop. Asked for another room and they said they had none. My daughter couldn’t handle it so we had to leave and find a room elsewhere. I asked for refund as we were there less than 10 minutes. I got no apologies and no refund. Tried to work through hotels.com with the hotel and they refused. We messaged back and forth for a couple days and they refused to give me a contact for corporate Wyndham and offered no refund. Not even partial. We drove by the hotel again later that night and it appears they may have booked it out to someone else. No apologies, no offer of even a little refund. Horrible customer service. Dirty room, lacking view and unwilling to help in our predicament. Avoid!

Lots of parking but could use a couple more handicap parking spaces, they only have one. since the price has gone up after covid I feel they should have house keeping everyday, don't have to change bed totally but at least make it up, replenish linens and coffee supplies with enough coffee for more than one cup each, two people. Owners are very nice, motel is kept up nicely and will stay there again.

I had a mixed experience. The room had a great ocean view, the fireplace was excellent, the room we stayed in had a Jacuzzi Hot Tub that was well taken care of and was very nice! In addition, the people running it are very nice. The room was clean and updated. The hotel is in walking distance of Depoe Bay and just a short walk to everything. The cons? The bed was advertised as a queen bed, but was actually a Full. I enjoy cuddling my wife, but it felt a bit cramped. The bed itself was not soft, although I've been in worse. The town is safe, but we were on the first floor. The sliding door to the balcony has no screen door and leaving it open all night is sketchy; people and wild animals can come right in. We had a cute family of Raccoons visit, which was incredible to watch. If we left the door open to listen to the ocean, they would have been in our room too. There was no AC, and combining that with being unable to leave the sliding door open, the fireplace generated too much natural heat to be on for ambience. The noise factor of neighbors next to us and above us, in addition to being next to the doorway leading up to the parking lot, did cause some grief. Fortunately, everyone quieted down at nights so we could sleep; until about 8am every morning when upstairs sounded like it was always being renovated. They took away the Hot Tub and Continental Breakfast that used to be a part of the Hotel. Unfortunate.

The outside of the building is weathered, but the room was very clean and updated. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean. The hotel is within walking distance of all attractions in the downtown area including great whale and seal sightings! Great option for the price!

Got to the property and checked in got on the elevator and noticed a smell of gear oil like smell we got im a room in it was hot and stank like hot something we opened the door to try to air it out when my dad open the refrigerator and pow the smell of a broken refrigerator poured out it was hot to the tuch and had dew on the insides not good so we go back to the front and ket the lady know whats going on shs grabbed a can of air freshener and went to are room the moment she opens the door Starts spraying it up like a drive by even in the refrigerator and says everythings is ok i dont smell anything and walked out we asked for a different room there sold out she says without even looking so we just decided to stay we made a mistake the beds where rock hard has a good veiw tho
