The property is aged. Our shower had old holes in the wall where the old curtain used to hang. No attempt to cover/repair it. Also floors are thin, could hear people upstairs walking around at 2am. Beds were comfortable & loved the deck overlooking the river. Staff was super nice & very helpful which is what made me score this a 4. Very walkable to a great coffee place, restaurants & shopping along the river.

No balcony view because no balcony! Not happy that there is no option for fresh outdoor air in this first floor room--window does not open and no fan setting on the thermostat. Otherwise, room is clean, well-maintained, and well-appointed.

Room was clean and quiet other than some noise from the bridge over the river nearby, but that completely went away at night. View of the river was nice. Beds were hard and pillows were flat (seemed to be standard for the West Coast). Breakfast was decent for Continental. Nice place to stay on a West Coast trip!

Love the location, walkable to restaurants, bars, shopping, and the view of the bay is awesome. Highly recommend the sand dune buggy rides across the bridge nearby. Prices have really jumped up higher. The staff was very friendly and accommodating.

We have been visiting this motel for 20 years. Our favorite lodging in Florence. Can walk into town in 5 minutes. Beautiful dune and river view. Clean and modern. Beds are very comfortable.

Overall we liked this property. Large room, good restaurants nearby, and convenient location. The in-room amenities were lacking (only one small bar of soap, no hand towels for bathroom, no bath mat, no shampoo or conditioner or body wash). Room was hot and there was no air conditioning other than a fan.

Nice little place, stayed in a balcony room overlooking the Suislaw. Can’t go wrong! Good shower, good beds, breakfast good too. The staff is super nice and helpful (thanks again for getting my ukulele back to me!)
