Booked the property about 6 months ago, b&b advertised as included. On arrival, a packet of biscuits were pointed out as something for the morning, no breakfast so had to walk into town to find something adding an additional cost that we thought we had already been included. Average room and amenities, bathroom tired. We spent 3 wonderful weeks travelling around Sicily and this is the only accommodation we wished we had changed.

We were charged an extra 50 euro to have 3 of us stay in the room. This was not posted anywhere on hotels.com. We specifically booked this room because it had an extra bed, yet we were charged to use it.

A good stay in Cefalu

Very nice place with warm and frendly staff. Breakfast served on our own terrace based on requestform at arrival. Short walk to beach and a morning swim. Coffe served at the terrace when we came back. Beatiful view from terrace and nice rooms. Free parking in the street. Prior to our stay we were afraid it was a bit far from town, but it was only a 15-20 min easy and safe walk to the old city with good resturantes and lots to see. If you are looking for a five star pampering hotel choose something else. If you want a more personal stay with good atmosphere we higly recommend this place.

A Tonnara is a charming local bed and breakfast - our room was spacious and clean with a lovely terrace/patio out front that offered views of the sea. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful, calling us a taxi from the Cefalu train station to the hotel property when we arrived. We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast that gets served outside on your individual patio/terrace. We selected our breakfast choices (savory and sweet options available) from a menu the night before as well as our preferred time interval for the employees to set up the lovely display. Keep in mind that the B&B is about 15-minute walk from the historic Cefalu city center where the beach and cathedral are located. However, we loved that this was a slightly more isolated, quieter location and retreat from all the action. There is a main central road from the property directly to the city center that you can walk alongside while admiring views of the sea the entire time and it felt extremely safe and was well-lit at night.

This property is beautiful, it a small family run B and B, they serve breakfast on your patio every morning which is delicious and filling. The rooms were super clean and very comfortable. The view is beautiful and it is an easy walk into town, to the beach, and to restaurants. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful with recommendations and offered beach accessories. I highly recommend staying at A Tonnara

We enjoyed our one night at A Tonnara - we did find it a bit tricky to find and also, it is a full 20 minute walk into Cefalu. But, the view and the quietness of the room were wonderful and I can easily recommend it for value for money :-)

Peaceful place with nice staff

We were a bit disappointed of the distance to the beach as the photos implied it is closer. However a nice view of the sea. Be aware that the breakfast is served room by room in 15 mins interval. We were last to check in and got our breakfast 09.30. It was too late for us as we should leave and move on. The staff was very nice and supportive
