It was snowy there when we got there didn’t expect that but it was also up in the mountains so i didn’t mind it one bit. The staff was great and kind. The cabin was perfect.
The best features of the Grand Mesa Lodge is its location as the Crag Crest Trail system is near by. The Lodge/bar area is very good with decent food and bar facilities.
The rooms at the “motel suite” is like visiting a decaying deer camp from 1978. We had no hot water for two days and spent too much time on this issue.
The motel has a kitchen so bring your own groceries. Good location but a rough motel room.
We loved our stay, we had everything we needed and the cabin was clean and all ready for us. We will be coming back! :)

this a no frills cabin! not many outlets for charging devices if your on the move. also missing curtains for windows in the cabin 15 i stayed in. was a lil creepy having lights on at night with no cabins in some of the windows downstairs. other than that it was nice for the location.
Cabin was very clean. Would have helped to have some sort of cleaning supplies to wipe down counters and tables.
There were broken windows and the door had a huge crack making it a bit drafty.
Overall for a spur of the moment camping trip it met our needs perfectly.
The upstairs smelled like animal feces and urine. Stairway was very narrow and steep and hard to maneuver. Futon in living room was terribly uncomfortable. It was one of the worst nights we ever had.
Beautiful mountain cabins with easy access and stunning views!! The lodge has gift shop, restaurant and lounge and extremely friendly and welcoming staff!! 3rd visit and will be back!!

Staying on the Mesa was a great surprise! We enjoyed hiking, the beautiful landscapes, and star gazing! Don’t miss the night sky! Thank you Grand Mesa Lodge and staff for providing comfortable lodging! Cabin 10 is just what we needed and the view is stunning!
The cabin it was perfect for me and my pup. Luckily, we were only able to get a one day stay over on our way to a different place. However, we will be back for longer.
Very rustic and quiet. The best part is no WiFi in the cabins. And no TV. Just you and nature. The perfect combo

The Cabins need to be refurbished, but very clean. To much snow & ice all around. But the sightseeing by a car was beautiful

The cabins were cute but the fact that they were so old and not really taken care of was my biggest concern. The location is absolutely amazing but it’s just not kept up.

The hot water in cabin 14 didn’t work. Some of the staff didn’t seem to know much about the cabins or surrounding area. But they were very polite. The lake was beautiful but the hike back up was a little rough for those out of shape, very worth it though. The store didn’t real have much to offer as far as food, not even milk and the restaurant doesn’t even use milk. We would definitely stay again.
