We had a great stay. The house was cute and comfortable. Very convenient for visiting downtown and Coe College.

*House was generally clean*Many lights were out so I got bulbs from basement lights to put on the main floor. Bare bulbs fixtures--don't know what happened to the bulb covers.*Only 2 air conditioner vents put out air so I got a fan to push cool air into the bedroom.*The ceiling fan switch in the bedroom only worked with the light turned on--so no fan to help cool at night.*Furnishings old and well worn*At night, it was hard to see to get in the front door and find the house number.*Lawn and shrubbery overgrown-not a hinderance, but not how I would keep it.*Basement had 2 large puddles covering much of the floor. The washing machine line had a major leak so I turned off the water allowing the puddles to shrink by several inches before we left.*General musty smell in the house I assume from the waterfall in the basement.*Windows with no curtains or shades left an "exposed" feeling.*One electrical outlet in the kitchen was workable. All other outlets 2 prong, and were so worn out that it was difficult to find a place to plug in a fan.*The shower valves were leaky and difficult to use.*We needed some cooking utensils and silverware (4 provided)* There were plenty of nice towel available*The wood floor was attractive*The refrigerator was large and handy to use.Overall, this will one day be a nice rental property after completing some major maintenance needs.
