Hotel was not open for business. Locals told us that the hotel is used by the local drug addicts for their trade. No lights, no "Open" sign lit, no business in parking lot.

1 star – Scam listing, avoid at all costs I booked a stay at what was listed as the Oyo motel in Cave City, KY through Expedia, and it turned out to be completely fraudulent. When we arrived, the property looked nothing like the photos. The building was dark, run-down, and clearly not in operation. There were no lights on, no staff, and a sign on the door stating that the “Countryside Inn is not associated with OYO or the past owners” and that anyone who booked online would need to contact whoever they booked through for a refund. So essentially, this location is closed, yet still being listed and sold as an active hotel. We were left scrambling at night to find another place to stay, which was stressful and completely avoidable. To make matters worse, Expedia has been unhelpful in resolving this, and after digging into the reviews, it’s clear this has been happening to other people for months. It is unacceptable that this listing is still live and taking people’s money. Avoid this listing entirely. It is not a functioning hotel.
