Great communication with owner but not a pleasant stay for us
I knew the apartment was going to be small but had not realized quite how small it was. It is a good size for one or two people or a couple with a young child but it was too small for us with a teenager. The 2nd bedroom is tiny - closet size. I knew this going in but the bed was simply too narrow for my son who felt claustrophobic in the space. Luckily the small living room sofa pulled out. The apartment is in a great location on a quiet street and parking in easy. You can walk just about everywhere in this lovely little town.
Dominique was wonderful in the sense that he was very responsive to all my questions and had good suggestions and recommendations. Sadly, he has had some bad luck with his concierge service who has not done a great job at the upkeep of the place. The apartment is clean but the towels and sheets/pillows were very musty. We were able to pull some things together with the stuff that was there and not musty - but the towels and some of the pillows and sheets were unusable. I mentioned this to Dominique and I am sure he will make the corrections needed to return the apartment to a more pleasant stay for those who come to spend a weekend or a few days.
