"I celebrated my 60th birthday with friends and family. It was a great location for hiking and biking. You can walk to the Mt Tremper Trail Head and it is a 9 minute car ride to the Ashocken Bike Trail. Kitchen was well stocked and great for eating in which is always easier with large groups. I highly recommend riding your bike to the Dog House which is only 2.2 miles away for the best vegan hotdog and beer."

"We had such a wonderful time staying at the Lodge. The historic property was beautiful and clean, and we loved being right on the Woodland Creek. There was plenty of space for our two families of four to not feel like we were constantly on top of each other, and the location had great proximity to so many hikes. The firepit was perfect for s'mores with the kids, and they loved seeing the wildlife that wandered through the property (turkeys and even a bear one day)! There's a swimming hole up the road that we made use of on our last day there, and we all spent a ton of time down at the creek. Overall, it was a fabulous place to stay, and we'd love to come back."
