The perfect Palm Springs large family house
Within the beautiful gated grounds, we pulled up to a nicely maintained and manicured neighborhood and to the house, with a large garage for two vehicles. The patio entrance leads to a very spacious house with an open plan for the family to gather. We loved the spacious area with a huge sitting area with a nice big screen TV and fireplace (to warm the days we were there but would be nice otherwise) right alongside a dining area, perfect for a family to gather with a view to the pool area, next to a great large kitchen with all the necessary cooking equipment to put together all the meals a family would want. There also was another comfortable sitting area off the main room that turns into a pretty comfortable Queen sized bed. Everyone loved the two very nice bedrooms to one side of the house, with a shared bathroom and on the other side of the house, next to the pool deck, a great master bedroom with a huge space, fantastic shower and bathroom with a walk in closet, private bathroom and other goodies.
The back yard and pool with jacuzzi was amazing. Just outside the dining area, is a comfortable outdoor living room with a big screen TV that can be adjusted to view from the jacuzzi as well for a fun movie night while soaking. The deck offers a great sunning area to take in the Palm Springs sun, BBQ, a bar, all within the walled/private area to relax amongst the grapefruit trees lining the property.
This house suited our needs perfectly! There are amenities not mentioned that we really appreciated, like the Kurig style coffee maker, already supplied with coffees, a spacious pantry with many goodies people have left such as ourselves that we couldn’t travel back with. The gas oven was really nice to use. Washer and dryer if you need it. We all gave this VRBO rental, two big thumbs up/5 stars during our week stay during a difficult time attending a family funeral/memorial.
