What an amazing find. When we booked, we had no idea how special this place was. Hidden behind old doors, and up a staircase lies an oasis. Only four exquisitely designed rooms. The location was perfect for exploration and restaurants. We felt very safe and comfortable. The proprietor was very helpful, and even let us check in early. Excellent!

Absolutely beautiful room. We asked if it was possible to get an early check-in as our flight landed at 9am. Thanks to Luca (owner) we were able to get in our room at 11am…so nice. Luca met us at the building and gave us a tour of the room. The one thing that threw us off was the entrance to rooms. It is on a busy street with a very large door. We rang the bell and were greeted by a cleaning lady who led us to the small lobby. Luca was not there but she called him and they kept our bags in the lobby till Luca could arrive….not long after. Our problem was at night when we went back after dinner in the dark there was no light in the entrance. We had to use our phones to light up the stairs. Other than that, this place was wonderful.

The property requires navigating a significant number of stairs, and unfortunately, no assistance was available upon arrival. I was left to carry my heavy luggage up on my own, which was both inconvenient and physically demanding. Additionally, the 10:00 AM checkout time feels unnecessarily early, especially given the lack of support and amenities.

One Night in Catania

We were so happy we chose this accomodation for our one night in Catania. The room was lovely and spotless and in a great location. The bed was comfy and the room huge and well appointed. Coffee and croissants in the morning was a welcome touch. Overall, a great property with an amazing host. Highly recommend

Great room in a good locationfor a stay in Catania

Out communication with Luca was excellent, as he asked when we would arrive (and it was early at 10am) he made sure our room was ready. It was at the heart of Catania and there was much to see and do. The room was lovely: comfortable and clean. We would stay again without hesitation.

Hidden gem

This place was gorgeous and updated so beautifully with a clean elegant feel. When we pulled up we were a little wary, based on the look of the area in general, but we were quickly set at ease. As soon as you enter at check-in it is exquisite and it’s located in the center of Catania. Luca was super and the place was clean and comfortable and the neighborhood felt safe.He recommended Mad in Sicily, right across the street for dinner. We had a lovely time with a really fun server, Andrea. Our stay was short, but it was perfect. We parked for free just on the street overnight. Very convenient and enjoyable.

Property was very modern in the heart of town, yet tucked away in a quaint historic building. Bed was comfortable and the room amenities well thought out. We walked everywhere and the location was perfect for the historic sites. Definitely would revisit this stay.

Perfect 2 days

Luca was a fantastic host. He is very helpful and kind. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. This location is a short walk to everything. The air conditioning worked great. The bed and pillows were very comfortable also. A nice touch was the croissant and coffee that comes to your room each morning.

This property was definitely a surprise. Hidden behind a huge wood door, that looked very old, was this hidden gem. This is not the place for anyone who is physically disabled or challenged. There is no elevator or assistance for your luggage. Rather, there is a large flight of stairs and you are on your own. However, once you enter the suites it is a lovely oasis. The rooms are large and well appointed, and the location is perfect, walkable to all attractions and restaurants. The proprietor was charming and helpful. This was truly a different and delightful experience.

Good Hotel

The hotel is in the middle of the historic area, within walking distance of cathedral and its plaza. Lots of good food options available. Did not care for the noise on Saturday night but those are the chances you take when staying on a busy street… not the hotel’s fault.
