It is not mentioned in the ad I don't think but this is a walkup of several flights on a tight spiral staircase. Definitely not for anyone with mobility issues. If you can't carry your luggage up several flights you should avoid it. Having said that though it is a convenient location and a nice room with great views. The host is very helpful although you never meet him.

Not a hotel in the accepted sense, no reception and communication all done remotely. Having said that host Michael was attentive and stayed in touch. However 1 Not suitable for older people who will have to walk up several flights of narrow stairs with their baggage. To his credit Michael did offer to come to the ‘hotel’ to help with the bags if required but we left most of our stuff in car as only one night stay. 2 The online app for opening and closing front door and individual apartments is only in Italian. 3 The apartment could do with signs explaining how to turn on gas cylinder so gas elements would function and how the controls for electric oven work - the apartment was clean but the oven was filthy. 4 Cold water shower only - maybe we have to turn a water heater on but not advised and no signs. 5 Location in heart of old town was great and noisy - close to most of the attractions and multiple eating options. Hotel is best suited for budget travellers looking for central location and who don’t want or need a lift to walk up 4 or 5 floors. Judged on that basis offers good value.

Some rooms are ok, we had an 'attic room' up a steep narrow steel step staircase. There was a small fridge on the floor & one chair and double bed. No other furnishings and hardly room for what was in there. No flat surface to charge phone other than window sill. Would not recommend!

Property has lovely views with an outside seating area. It is spacious and clean with reasonable facilities and the contact staff were very responsive. The area is well served and vibrant. Unfortunately it is not suitable for an elderly couple with a heavy bag.

Ficamos no último andar, de onde se pode ter a vista da foto, para a catedral de Catania! Vc pode ter problemas para subir e descer as malas! Recebi um link para abrir as portas do prédio e do quarto! Eu gostei, mas pessoas com dificuldades de internet podem ter problemas! O local foi difícil de acessar pq não confere com o Google maps! Embora informe q estamos a 5 minutos do aeroporto, tivemos problema com ruas fechadas e levamos 40 minutos! Apenas tenha em mente para possíveis cálculos de logística! No mais, lugar e pessoal muito agradáveis, ficaria novamente!

Il punto di forza della struttura e' la posizione: a ridosso del centro storico e servita dai mezzi pubblici (piazza Borsellino per aereoporto e bus cittadini). Noi abbiamo scelto di visitare Catania senza auto. Il palazzo e' antico servito da una scala a chiocciola, la nostra stanza mansardata, si raggiunge da una rampa in ferro. Sicuramente scomoda per anziani. Il rapporto prezzo/ qualita molto valido

Catania verace

Collocato praticamente a ridosso del Duomo in pieno centro in una zona popolare con mercato al mattino che diventa la sera spazio dove i vari locali della zona allestiscono i tavoli per la grande quantità di persone che la frequenta. Atmosfera molto suggestiva.
