Quaint stay at a unique B&B.

This place is absolutely adorable. Very clean and the bed was comfortable. It’s a very unique building, and we felt so authentic staying here. Very walkable to tons of different shops and restaurants. Roberta was an absolute doll. She was kind, helpful, and made us the most delicious breakfast. I will definitely be back, one night was not nearly enough.

What a magical wonderful place to stay in Catania!! Roberta makes you feel right at home! Welcomed, taken care of, safe and excited about exploring Catania! The moment I arrived she explained to me the protocol for accessing the building and my room. All was very safe and straight forward. She the proceeded onto describing for me in a map what to seed where to go and what to do, and I was able to do all of it in just a few hours. The rooms are exceptionally well maintained and will all the amenities one needs: toothbrush and paste, razor and make up removing materials. Also kitchen materials like plates, and utensils. Rooms and common areas are: clean, organized, private, safe and spacious. The bathrooms were also very well maintained. Water was warm and with quality pressure. Refillable water bottles and filtered water as well. Breakfast was a delight! I wish I could have enjoyed it a bit more but as I was checking out early and wanted to see more of the city I had to cut the breakfast time but Roberta really goes out of her way in making the breakfast and your time at her B&B a truly hospitable place. I’d go back just to stay at her B&B and see her. Her energy and vibe is support uplifting and positive!

Great location arriving from Catania AirPort. A big bonus was the 24h manner parking space as both parking and driving in Catania is «interesting». Parking made easy and reserved by host. Just a minutes walk from the hotel. Getting you inside requires passing multiple locked fotos, but excellent information made this easy. Breakfast was excellent, with host serving from a Small menu. Host super attentative and friendly. Great tips for sights and restaurants given. Rooms very tastefully furnished. Quiet all though in the middle of the city center. Also, an elevator in such an old building is a bonus when arriving with suitcases. We booked a second stay when we left😊

Fantastik B&B med super vært

Dette lille og meget personligt indrettet B&B ligger i den gamle bydel i Catania, meget tæt på mange seværdigheder. Ejendommen er en gammel fredet bygning tæt på havnen og tæt på Teatro Bellini. Vi havde et stort soveværelse, opholdsrum med lille te køkken og et pænt badeværelse, og det hele var så rent og velholdt. Men absolut topkarakter får værten Roberta, som hele tiden sørger for at alt er som ønsket, hunvil gøre alt for sine gæster. Vi kan anbefale at tilkøbe den større morgenmadsbuffet. Her sørger Roberta for at du får lige det du har lyst til. Roberta står selv i køkkenet hver morgen og laver æg efter ønske, og de lækreste pandekager samt naturligvis kaffe efter ønske. Roberta hjælper med alt hvad du har af spørgsmål, hun foreslår seværdigheder i byen, hun hjælper med taxaservice til lufthavnen, ja lige meget hvad så står hun til rådighed. Vi vil helt sikkert bo her igen, næste gang vi besøger Catania.

Just brilliant!

The B&B is located in the centre of Catania, in a quiet courtyard, an oasis in this hectic city. All the tourist attractions are within walking distance. Roberta, the owner, lives for the B&B and for her guests. She fulfils most requests and offers her help whenever she can, for example if you have a special request for breakfast. The buffet breakfast is sensational. There is a wide selection of typical Sicilian pastries, wholemeal bread, rusks, cheeses, cold meats, muesli, seeds and cereals, and anything else you may desire. Roberta also prepares coffee, cappuccino, milk, macchiato and fresh orange juice every morning, as well as eggs in all variations. She also helps to organise tours and is very knowledgeable about the Sicilian mentality and lifestyle. We had the largest room, the suite, which consists of an anteroom and a bedroom. The suite has a fridge, coffee and tea machine and sweets, which are replenished every day. There is also a massage chair in the suite. Cleanliness is very important to Roberta and the BnB is always very clean. She even has different cleaning utensils for each room so that the rooms are not cleaned with the same tools. This is sensational and very rare! The atmosphere is cosy and warm and Roberta makes you feel right at home, as if you were visiting relatives. We highly recommend Roberta's B&B.
