We were welcomed very kindly; we were able to leave our luggage in a designated storage area while we waited for check-in time. The room was very clean, and the location is close to everything—right outside, there’s a pizzeria (which is delicious, by the way! 😁), as well as a liquor store just a few steps away in case you need to pick up some snacks.

The staff is amazing. The location is fantastic. With that in mind, it is an older property so floors are squeaky, walls are super thin and you can hear every footstep on the floor above and the stairs. You can hear full conversations clearly from neighboring rooms.

The room was old and had a strong smell of mildew. I was told we had been upgraded to a room within a nice shower. The shower head broke off the first night and the floors were dirty. The convince to the town was the only plus. But I would not stay here again.

While I appreciated the character of this old hotel, it just felt very tired and had some weird smells. The price was very high for the condition of the hotel. We had two rooms and they couldn’t put us on the same floor. The breakfast was very limited: bagels, blueberry muffins and orange juice.
