Under the covered wooden pavilion with a large dining table and seating, as well as right next to the permanently installed barbecue, you can enjoy a wonderful meal together. Alternatively, the spacious terrace offers a lovely place to socialise.



Rontano is a peaceful retreat, surrounded by rolling hills and forests, which offer ideal conditions for hikes, bike tours and relaxing hours in nature. You are in the heart of Garfagnana, nestled between the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines on one side and the Apuan Alps on the other. The region offers countless hiking and cycling trails as well as numerous natural attractions such as the Orecchiella Nature Park, the Botanical Garden, the Gramolazzo, Isola Santa and Vagli lakes and the Campocatino natural oasis. Picturesque towns such as Castiglione di Garfagnana with its historic town walls and towers or the Ariosto Fortress in Castelnuovo di Garfagnana also invite you to immerse yourself in the local culture and cuisine.
