The food is also very good, and the overall atmosphere is charming. However, the bed was terrible. The mattress was old, and the springs made it very uncomfortable, so I couldn’t sleep well. I’ve stayed in many different hotels and have never experienced such a bad bed. I understand that the concept and vibe of the place are meant to feel historic or classic, but for a property of this level, the bed should match the quality of the rest of the experience. Upgrading the mattresses would make a big difference.

Dream first Italy stop!

We enjoyed 4 wonderful days and loved every minute. The staff was kind, friendly, helpful, and made our stay very pleasant. Initially we had only booked 3 nights but loved it so much that decided to add one more night. The location also allowed us to visit other parts of the region like Pisa, Florence, and Siena. Having breakfast included and on site parking was the icing on this stay!!
