La Dolce Villa is the perfect spring/summer getaway for friends or family. The house is located on the corner of a quiet private road: a beautiful garden surrounds the property, filled with the scents of trees and aromatic herbs typical of the Mediterranean scrub (fig, rosemary, bougainvillea). There’s a beautiful, spacious patio where you can unwind, dine, relax on comfortable sofas and lounge chairs, or simply enjoy yourselves: a wonderful antique dining table can comfortably seat 10 people for breakfast, dinner, or lunch. This charming table is located outdoors, with easy access from the kitchen. There’s also a professional-grade barbecue where you can put your grilling skills to the test. We must say that the true “one-of-a-kind highlight” of the outdoor area is a professional Italian wood-fired stove for cooking (and dining). If needed, we can put you in touch with a professional pizza chef who will prepare all your favorite traditional, handmade pizzas right in front of you… in your villa with your friends and family. It’s not just about “eating Italian,” but “fully experiencing classic Italian cuisine in a typical Mediterranean beach house.”

The entire villa has been renovated to make it even more comfortable, charming, and suited to all your needs.
This fully equipped villa spans approximately 400 square meters and is spread over two floors:
- The first floor features a spacious open-concept main living area with a large living room, a spacious patio, and a fully equipped kitchen (complete with a convenient pantry, a working fireplace, a private barbecue, and a dishwasher). There is a master bedroom with an en suite bathroom (featuring a charming “cave shower”) and direct access to the garden. An additional spacious bathroom with a shower completes this floor.
- The upper floor features 4 bedrooms with double beds, 1 bathroom, and 2 terraces overlooking the garden. The largest room is the master bedroom with direct access to the private terrace.
In the house you will find:
- A pantry with plenty of pots, pans, and utensils, as well as a new stove/oven and microwave
- Washing machine and dishwasher
- TV, DVD player, and iPod stereo system
- Sheets, comforters, towels, and pillows
- Deck chairs, umbrellas, and toys
- Outdoor shower
- Parking inside and outside the property.

La Dolce Villa is located right in the heart of the Cilento National Park and Marine Protected Area (including all the beaches). “Zona Lago” is an exclusive area of Santa Maria di Castellabate featuring beautiful homes, Mediterranean trees, a stunning beach, a grocery store, and many excellent restaurants and bars near the harbor. Everything is within walking distance, including an excellent tennis court.
We’re a 10-minute drive from downtown, a 20-minute drive from Castellabate, the ancient yet charming medieval village: an UNESCO World Heritage Site (a must-see!), and a 40-minute drive from the archaeological site of Paestum, where the most beautiful ancient Greek temples symbolize the long history of this cultural region.
Guests have access to everything. We live in this house and do not rent it out full-time. We expect guests to treat it with the same respect they would their own home.
