Located at the foot of the Canigou, in the Cady valley in Conflent, Casteil is the ideal destination for rest or for sporting and invigorating relaxation in a quiet place. Small village well known for the beautiful abbey of Saint-Martin-du-Canigou, dating from the eleventh century, one of the largest and most beautiful abbeys in the region. 200 m from one of the most important climbing sites in the department, as well as many hiking departures in the regional park of the Catalan Pyrenees (the Gorges du Cady, Pla Guillem, the Goa tower, the Canigou massif etc.). Vernet Les Bains is just 2.5 km away, ideal if you need to take a spa treatment, 9 km from one of the most beautiful villages in France, Villefranche de Conflent (medieval city fortified by Vauban) and 58km from Perpignan.
In a quiet and relaxing place, this independent house, completely renovated, on one level is surrounded by a plot of 1000 m² where relaxation and rest will be the order of the day.

Séjour très agréable au pied du Canigou

Gîte charmant et confortable dans un environnement superbe! très agréables randonnées et découvertes de la région du Conflent...Le propriétaire du gîte est accueillant, chaleureux, serviable et réactif. Nous recommandons vivement ce gîte dans lequel nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir pour faire les randonnées que nous n'avons pas encore réalisées.
