About this property
Iconic Tented Cabin with Fire Pit in Cassville, Missouri
Experience the beauty of Missouri in the warmer months, just three miles from Roaring River State Park. Wake up to golden sunrises, explore lush trails, and spend lazy afternoons fishing or wading in cool streams. As evening falls, gather around the firepit for starlit storytelling and roasted s’mores. Whether you’re here for adventure or relaxation, our glamping tents provide the perfect outdoor retreat.
Tucked away in a more secluded area of the property, Glamping Tent #5 is one of our 5 larger glamping units that offer a peaceful off-grid retreat surrounded by trees, and the occasional visit from deer at sunrise. This tent is fully off-grid with no electricity and no AC in the tent itself - you'll find comfort in the simplicity instead, like 2 cozy queen beds and a wood stove for warmth on cooler nights.
Mornings start slow here: coffee in hand from our nearby general store, seated in Adirondack chairs on your covered deck as birdsong and soft morning light ease you into the day. After hiking or exploring Roaring River State Park, return to your private firepit for a meal under the stars and a night of true stillness.
What’s Included:
Two queen beds with a plush bed pad (linens provided)
Wood stove for chilly evenings
Large covered deck with Adirondack chairs
Bistro table + seating
Off-grid tent: no electricity or AC
Access to the onsite general store (coffee, muffins, snacks, slushies & more)
Clean, shared bathhouse with hot showers (apprx. 150 yards from your tent)
Firepit with grate - perfect for campfire meals (bring your own cookware!)
Access to community seating and charging outlets at the general store
Just 5 minutes from Roaring River State Park and 15 minutes from Table Rock Lake
This is primitive glamping at its best - off-grid, spacious, and refreshingly simple.
With family-friendly activities like hiking, fishing, and wildlife spotting, Roaring River Hills is a nature lover’s dream. Shared bathroom facilities with hot showers ensure your comfort, while our general store keeps you stocked with snacks, cold drinks, and slushies.
Weekend live music at Roaring River State Park adds a special touch to your nights. Bring your boat or watersports gear - storage is free onsite. Keep an eye out for local wildlife from your private deck, making each stay a chance for new discoveries.
For dining, visit local favorites like The Depot or Oriental House, both a short drive away. Fire pits are available for grilling - just bring your own utensils for a delicious outdoor feast.

Charles Sanders is native to this area and had the privilege of growing up in Roaring River State Park. That is where he realized he had a love for camping, fishing, hiking and exploring the beautiful mountains of the Ozarks. This love of camping, meeting new people, and everything this area had to offer led to his dream that one day he would own his own campground. This is that dream coming true. Please come enjoy, relax and share some of your stories with us. We look forward to meeting you.
