I liked the remodel it looked like a lot of things were updated and it looked nice, but the room was still a little small especially the bathroom. The double beds were smaller than were used to but it would be difficult to get 2 queens into that space. The bed wasn't very comfortable and was too high off the floor. We planned on using the pool but were short on time. The breakfast area was very nice and had a nice selection.

It took me over an hour to get a room that wasn't disgusting. The first room I was given completely reeked of cigarette smoke, I went back to the front desk and was given another room. The front desk was very understanding and informed me that the whole hotel was non-smoking, but that their cleaning staff should have caught that and fixed the issue. The second room I was given looked fine at first, until I got ready for bed. When I pulled back the sheets I quickly realized that the sheets were completely soiled and had never been cleaned from the guests before. There were multiple stains all over the sheets with clumps of hair sticking to the stains. Once again the front desk was helpful in getting me into another room, although they didn't have any more King rooms and had to downgrade me into a double bed room.

Friendly staff. Room was better than expected because the cost of the hotel was less than nearby hotels. Cookies were delicious at check-in. Will definitely stay here again when passing through.
