This resort was built maybe 5 years ago and it's so nice to have a new, clean place to stay in the area. The staff was all very helpful, super eager to talk to us with more detail when we asked. It's also fun to have the casino and concerts and restaurants and spa all in one building! Loads of parking, maybe 20 minutes from SIU. For those with younger kids, there are two restaurants, a cafe and pool outside of the "carded" casino area which is of course 21+.
