Overall, a beautiful facility!
We stayed here for an overnight on our way to Florida. We didn’t realize this hotel was brand new (only open a few weeks). Since it was brand new everything was beautiful and very clean! The room was very nice and the bed and linens were outstanding and so comfortable. The mini kitchen was stocked with essentials for food prep and dining. There was even a dishwasher. Their breakfast was good with a great selection of choices. The downside of a brand new facility is they have a few bugs to work out. The shower did not have hot water so even though they had great shower heads we couldn’t take a shower in the morning. The key card system is very confusing because they are two hotels in one facility (Home2Suites and Tru Hotel). You have to use the key card to operate the elevator and they have a separate key lock for each hotel. If you use the card on the wrong lock face, it deactivates the key card! These lock faces are right next to each other so easy to accidentally use on wrong face. We booked at Home2 but they gave us a Tru key card so you can imagine our frustration when we couldn’t get the elevator to operate because we matched the card to the Tru lock face. Very confusing!! Last, their pet fee is outrageous at $100 nonrefundable. We will not likely use this facility again because of this fee. It is just too expensive for an 11 hour stay.
