The house was lovely. Plenty of room. Easy check-in and clean. Kitchen was appointed well. There were lots of beach chairs, boogie boards and umbrellas which was nice. The gas grill worked fine but was in need of repairs (held up by a brick). The porches were furnished comfortably and were very inviting. The downstairs main refrigerator did not work at all - maintenance came and said it needed replacement - no further messages from the host on that front. Downstairs wash machine needs maintenance as it did not wash well and left stains on clothes. For paying 9000, everything should have been operational. Host communication was minimal - didn’t have answers.

Stay Away! Pros: Good Views standing on upper deck, lots of room, convenient location, AC worked well. Cons: Fridge on lower level didn’t work, contacted Carolina Beach Realty on 1st day all the keep saying was they will pass on the issue. Finally after 4 days of going back and forth with them they said they would get another fridge in there after we left. The place was filthy, found roaches on 2 different occasions. 1 on the top level and 1 on bottom level. Multiple Blinds had missing or broken louvers. Door threshold on lower level was broken off. Very 3rd level father-in-law and brother-in-law had to take drain apart to get water to drain. Zero water pressure if using more than 1 device at a time. Moving the couches found trash underneath the couches on both levels. The outdoor furniture is dirty and covered in bird poop. Zero view from inside the house to the ocean because the inside of the windows are blown and mildew is growing in between the panes. Yes, we have pics as well. Once again, stay away. Carolina Beach Realty doesn’t care if there are issues, they will just keep passing the buck so they don’t have to take care of anything.
