Vintage style and state-of-the-art amenities can both be found at this charming cottage in Carmel-by-the-Sea, located in a quiet neighborhood that is away from the hustle and bustle of downtown and yet still close to dining, shopping and the beach.

The 1,400 sf, 3-bedroom, 2-bath home is walking distance from Carmel’s famed Ocean Avenue and other attractions. It’s also just 10 minutes by car to the world-class golf courses and restaurants of Pebble Beach®, to Monarch butterfly sightings in Pacific Grove, or to the Monterey Bay Aquarium and Cannery Row. Other attractions within a half hour’s drive are the natural wonders of Big Sur and wine tasting and dining in Carmel Valley Village.

Furniture and décor reflecting a modern rustic vibe, a color scheme of gray, white, and coral, hardwood floors and original artwork give this renovated home a casual and fun ambiance, with large windows that let in generous amounts of natural light. The centrally located kitchen makes meals a snap to prepare, and a private patio offers space to unwind.

Living Spaces
A brick walkway leads up to the front door, while an adjacent path offers entry to the gated patio. Guests enter the home into the cozy living room, which features upholstered chairs and a sofa surrounding a gas fireplace. It’s a perfect place to read books or watch the 42-inch HDTV on the wall above the fireplace. Nearby shelves provide a small library of books of local and regional interest, and a desk is available for doing computer work or other tasks.
Both TVs in the home are wifi-enabled Smart TVs and guests should bring the logins to their own subscription services to view programming.

Kitchen and Dining
Adjacent to the living room is the dining room, with a rustic wooden table that seats six. Seating for two is also available at a kitchen island that provides handy shelves stocked with kitchen necessities. Stainless steel appliances by Jenn-Air include a four-burner gas stove, electric oven and a refrigerator with French doors, and a 36-inch HDTV is mounted over the refrigerator.

French doors from the kitchen open onto the back patio, which features landscaping around the borders and unique succulent wall planters, as well as a heat lamp, patio seating, all within the privacy-fenced back yard.

Bedrooms and Bathrooms
Bedroom #1 is a suite, which has cozy carpet, vaulted open-beam ceilings, a queen bed with fabric headboard, and luxury bedding in tones of white and gray. A club chair provides a reading spot next to the French doors which lead to the patio, and a large closet provides plenty of space for clothing and accessories.
The en suite bath includes dual sinks and mirrors, a large shower with a built-in seat, removable shower head and white subway tiles and stunning floor tiles.
Bedroom #2 has a queen bed.
Bedroom #3 has two twin beds.
These guest bedrooms share a hallway bath with a tub/shower combo with removable shower head.

A stacked washer and dryer can be found in a utility closet off the kitchen.

Two parking spots are available in the driveway and one vehicle may park in the garage.

Well-behaved dogs are welcome with pre-approval, an additional pet fee and a signed pet addendum.

This home is a monthly rental and we request that all nights of your stay are within the same calendar month. Some exceptions may be possible, with the approval of our team and the homeowner.

Please note that this home has one exterior camera at the rear of the home facing toward the back entry gate and driveway/garage that are monitored regularly for security.

Perfect Location and very well appointed

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed over two months and loved the location, a beautiful, quiet neighborhood. Close to many popular golf courses, including Old Del Monte, Quail, and Monterey Pines. You will enjoy many walks to town, restaurants, shopping, and beautiful Pebble Beach.The home had a "Carmel-By-the Sea" charm blended with lovely modern updates. The neighbors were friendly and helpful. Very comfortable, clean, and well-appointed? Focused on the essentials with everything you'll need.Management was just a call away and very helpful with any questions or needs. We have rented over a dozen times in Carmel and this was by far the all-around nicest home.
