The Inn was in good order, the staff were pleasant and efficient. Our evening meal was good and the choices available were good. The room was clean and tidy although small. The wash basin was inconveniently small and we were unable to get hot water out of the tap ; we ran it for a long time but it remained stubbornly cold! I resorted to boiling the kettle so that I could shave. The hot water supplied to the shower was okay. The Saturday night entertainment was very loud and appeared to be directly below our room, which was unfortunate.

Parking was fine, bar was OK. We were furious to learn, on checking in, that breakfast could not be served until 9.30am (on a Monday?..come on!). We had to be on our way by 7.30. This was totally unacceptable, as this information was not provided in the booking details. The best resolve we could get was a 20% discount on the evening meal. (Whilst the breakfast was noted as 'free' in the booking details, we know the cost is obviously included in the cost of the room).
