I booked a room in this hotel four months ago and paid in full for it, but at the reception they told me that they can't give me the room I requested because they are fully booked and there are no rooms available. Our room was supposed to be accessible with two queen beds. Instead, they gave me a room on the third floor with one king size bed. The request for another room or rollaway bed was declined. Later there were three unauthorized charges on my credit card made by this hotel. My husband is now on the phone with the bank discussing those charges trying reverse them. So much negative experience with only one night stay in the hotel!

Hotel was an EXCELLENT value at about $75 for our one night stay. So, I understand that the breakfast offerings were limited to coffee and carbs as advertised. Room was quiet, clean, modern, and roomy in the less busy outskirts of town. Good access to Interstate 81 to visit Carlisle or other locations up and down the Interstate.

Parking was very easy although it was a bit dark. Checking in was a breeze and staff was extremely polite and helpful. I could not rate the food I did not have breakfast, but it was offered the only disadvantage that I found was I had a handicap room and the lights would go on and off without anybody walking around or doing anything I rolled over in bed one time the lights came on, but I can see where that would be extremely helpful. It just was not for me and I did not know if there was a switch that I could’ve adjusted it.

Reservation made previous month. Got a call to switch from 2 queen to 1 king bed @3pm day of check-in, Refused.. Went to make coffee, no tray in coffee maker.. Taking showers @11 pm, 5 inches of water in tub not draining. Toilet not going down... too late at nite to call anyone. Documented at checkout.

I would have given 5 for everything but unfortunately the room wasn’t cleaned properly . There was no attention to detail at all . The room was nice & the beds were comfortable but it was as if the cleaner had done the bare minimum to turn the room around . There were the hairs from the previous occupants in the bath , sink and toilet seat . The back of the sink had toothpaste splatters. The taps had water marks . The sink looked smeary as opposed to thoroughly clean . The headboards were thick with dust and one had splatters on it . The tv was covered in dust . The wardrobe doors were covered in fingerprints and the floor had bits all over it . We went to reception to try to speak to someone but no one was immediately available . We were tired after a long journey so just decided to clean up the bathroom ourselves . It’s a shame this happened and my suggestion is that some retraining of staff is needed with spot checks to ensure that high standards are maintained . What we experienced did not match the “ gold award “ certificate behind the reception desk !
