Stunning view, lovely clean room, high spec bathroom which was spotless. All staff extremely friendly and helpful, food very tasty in the restaurant. Really nice cosy vibes throughout the hotel. Only slight disappointment was the bed being very hard and quite uncomfortable, it was however a good size. Will definitely return.

Good standard of cleanliness. Bed was comfortable. More coat hangers would have been useful. Staff were very amenable. However there was no hot water avaliable in the evening which is not acceptable, particularly when you getting ready for dinner.

All very good, would have been excellent apart from one thing... Located at the bottom of a hill, when there is constant rain, there can be a smell of sewage from the drains in the bathroom. Not sure how they can fix it, but they gave us an air freshener, which helped. Long term it does need addressing though.

Easy parking at this smashing hotel, bar and restaurant. There are lovely views from most rooms. Breakfast is great and remains as good as it has been for the last 15 years. The young receptionist was an absolute gem, let us pray that she continues in hospitality as she will be sorely missed.

We have stayed here a few times now and the improvements and extension to the bar area is lovely. Upgraded rooms also are great. Breakfast is ok but could do with more fruit and pastries. Evening meal was great, especially as it was so busy. Staff are lovely and very helpful. Have booked again for next year

The property in general was well appointed including the bedroom. The dining room was cramped but the food was good, though my steak was not rare as asked for. The room was quiet though didn't look out over the estuary.
