A clean, decent, cheap option for a drop into Cardiff. Good public transport connection. One downside is parking is on a very steep land and has just turned into a pay to park/anpr job.

This was a great value place to stay with staff who could not be more friendly and helpful. It has easy connection for driving but the hotel is tired and is, as we were told, due for refurbishment after a recent take over All in all, fine for a quick stay but its refurbishment can't come soon enough.

If you go with reasonable expectations, you won’t be disappointed. From the price, it is clearly a budget option in this area and those coming expecting a 5 star experience/ a romantic stay should be realistic and reach further into their pockets. I got a little lost on the way here, but it is conveniently located close to shops (very near a Lidl and Waitrose). The reception staff were very friendly, giving a warm welcome and great service. My room was clean and tidy, had plenty of desk space and plugs and fit all my needs for a brief overnight stay before an interview in Cardiff. As a little tip, I’d suggest bringing a teaspoon with you (I travel with one anyway) , as there were only wooden stirrers provided. It was reminiscent of PGL accommodation (without the sharing), which I found quite nostalgic - no frills, but comfy, quiet and functional.I can’t comment on breakfast, as I didn’t eat here. Overall, good value for money

Good value stay for price

Easy check in with very friendly staff, room clean byt the bathroom could do with an update. Annoying light right outside window illuminated room all night! Bed comfy Supermarkets and pub very closeby

Very run down motel. I’d struggle to give it a one star. The room was very dated with heavily stained carpets Bed was uncomfortable with stained pillows and quilt. Also the quilt smelt of urine. Bathroom floor tiles cracked and a foul smell coming from the toilet. Front doors didn’t seem safe. I would not recommend anyone stay at this motel.
