Tired hotel

I book this hotel regularly for work colleagues and having now stayed myself I won’t be booking it again. Dirty carpets, tired surroundings and no water in the rooms.

Room was ok, bed was lovely and comfortable. But the head board looked dirty and very dated. It could all do with a spruce up. No water in the room and very limited coffee/tea supplies (literally 1 coffee sachet) I tried calling for room service several times, no answer, called reception who tried to contact them too but no answer. Receptionist said she had left a message for them to call me but no-one did. Staff not particularly friendly but not rude. I probably wouldnt stay here again.

Hotel was fine,I would stay there again.One issue is the staffing level for breakfast.The tables should be cleared while you are eating and not afterwards, there shouldn't be a table with cereal bowls while you are eating your bacon and eggs.It was more cafeteria standard of service than a 4 star property.Other than that the food was very good .

Room average but clean and comfortable. No magnifying mirror in the bathroom, but the wall mounted hand wash etc was good. Breakfast plentiful but tasteless. Very adequate but nothing outstanding.
