Stayed over one night whilst attending a conference near the University Hospital of Wales. The location was perfect for this venue. We thoroughly enjoyed the variety of the breakfast and the friendliness of the staff. The hotel was very clean but was let down by the dated carpets in the corridors and some public spaces. Would stay again.

Good spacious room, rooms were modern and clean. Corridors could do with an update. Only issue was noise, was woken at 11.45pm by a family moving room, understand this happens but they were continuously slamming the door. And woken the next morning at 4.30am with slamming doors and drunk young adults wondering the Corridors.

Staff were friendly and helpful, the hotel location was ideal for the university campus. Air conditioning in the room was impossible to work out, extractor fan in the bathroom was noisy and ran all night. Food was ok but limited vegetarian choice.

The hotel is fairly outdated and service generally slow. The air conditioning wasn’t working. When checking out we were told that someone should have told us about the AC when we arrived, although not sure what use that would have been. Wouldn’t recommend.

Breakfast was brilliant selection of healthy and treat options 24/7 gym was great to have even if a little tired and needing some TLC - always people in there and with only treadmill there was a queue - just glad to see something well used Ideal location for me - quiet but good motorway connections
