We stopped over here on our way from south Wales back to the north west of England. It was a great choice. The rooms are spacious, clean and modern. The bathroom was excellent. We also had dinner and breakfast here and for each meal the food was excellent. The staff were great too. I would definitely recommend this as a place to stay.

Staff friendly and helpful A customer from the pub immediately offered to help with luggage showing really good connection between local customers and the staff Rooms to a very high standard - no aircon but a fan was made available on request Comfortable bed Car park fairly small but ok Great selection of local beers all properly cellared Unfortunate hiccup at breakfast as gas failed - staff did well to provide an acceptable breakfast in the circumstances We would definitely stay again

All the staff were good and helpful. In particular was Darcie who was so helpful and had great people skills. Coffee machine in the room was nice. Only 1 teabag and zero teaspoons which was the only complaint. Food was large and good.

Valentines get away

We had a lovely one night stay at the Kings Head. As we travelled down we unfortunately had a very late check in but the team were super friendly and gave us a warm welcome on arrival. It’s in a great location for exploring and the cooked breakfast was delicious.
