Location was great to visit the Niece who is studying nearby and to head into Cardiff for the rugby. Public transport is well placed - a bus stop nearby took us into Pontypridd for parkrun and also the Trehafod train station for getting to Cardiff. We are at the restaurant and the food was delicious and highly recommend. Staff were welcoming and friendly.

We liked a lot the fact that the room could be warmed up rapidly, the staff was very helpful and friendly, and that breakfast was nice. Our bathroom was in a rather poor state though, with mold on the wall and floor tiles next to the bathtub, around the shower screen (which had no silicone to keep the water in), but also inside the shower head and tube. The room smelled of damp and the overall impression was of a worn-out property.

We attended for a wedding, the venue and all the staff were amazing. Our room was missing a put up bed which was organised straight away and many apologies were revieved. The room was spotless although as the bathroom window was open while we partied away, a team of bugs decided to enter and party in our bath tub! Not the hotel's fault but did need to keep the door closed to make sure the party didnt expand to the bedroom and did make us feel a bit yucky by morning. The joys of having nature at your doorstep I guess. None the less a great stay and would stay again

Mattresses and spare beds throughout the corridors. Dirty corridors rundown decor. You can see the staff are trying well the reception staff, but you can also feel the pain as they must constantly feel they have to apologise for the state of the place. Rundown, tired, dirty and needs investment. The sheets and towels are old and worn!! I will not be returning.
