Room had carpet stains. Elevator looked like it hasn’t been clean for some time. Finger prints all over. Threshold was needs major polishing. Booked the room through Expedia and it was cheaper than dealing directly with the hotel. I’m sure they give the less desirable rooms to Expedia customers. Our view was the back side of the extended facade. Breakfast was ok! Ice machine was out of service on the 2nd floor! Think they would put a sign on the machine stating out of service!

The coffee supply was very limited, and very slow to make and refill dispensers. The carpet and rugs were covered in stains and debris throughout lobby, breakfast area, each level, along with elevator. Seemed like the cleanliness was bear minimum.

I got in a few hours late (past midnight) because of a delayed flight. When I arrived at the DoubleTree, I was treated very poorly by the night worker Andrew. He was very rude to me and told me he would have to charge me for 2 nights instead of 1, even though I already paid for the night I was arriving for. Thankfully management made it right in the morning but I don’t plan to stay here again. I recommend Hilton or Hampton Inn around the corner. MUCH better customer service. I recommend management require Andrew to go through training for customer service.

Climate control very noisy. Breakfast quality was below average. Very noisy doors in the middle of the night. Back entry door had no lock in place.

Place was clean. Food in morning hot and good. Had a problem with darking shades in room not working along with the phone. Iron and spare blanket was missing. Hot tub and pool was cold. Building was getting an updates. This is good. Would stay again because of pricing.

They did not make the bed once and i was there for 3 nights - i had to ask for clean towels the second day - i had one counter person who was fantastic and went out of her way to try to help me figure my plane reservations she was lovely unfortunately i dd not grt her name but she had long braids snd im guessing she was lste 40s.

This Hampton is undergoing renovations. Pool and spa were not available. Rooms were damp feeling. Entry to the hotel was difficult. Food was average. This is the first Hampton that we have been disappointed in. Would not stay here again.

The evening we stayed here was move in weekend for SIU and we had moved our son into his apartment. We chose this location for its price and amenities. It was very unfortunate that management chose to shut down the pool and hot tub for routine maintenance this weekend and we could not enjoy the pool or the spa on the hottest day of the year. Seems a little suspect or just bad timing. I don’t believe I will stay here on any future visits.
