About this property
Spacious Studio Apartment - Number 4702
Smart and sassy, this spacious studio apartment does double duty as a luxury hotel suite and a home away from home. Perfect for a romantic getaway, a business bolt hole or a singleton’s sanctuary.
Boasting the very best location on this golden stretch of the Atlantic Seaboard – the view from this apartment is jaw-dropping. Slide back the full-length glass doors and take in the soft azure ocean as far as the eye can see.
A mere meander downstairs for your daily dip or watch the spectacular setting sun, cocktail in hand and toes in the sand. Watch over the jet-set party people in the bay from the comfort of your bed. Fall asleep to the sights and sounds of the gentle waves lapping on the beach below.
This is the place where the most discerning global traveller comes to rest and relax, under big blue African skies.
Expertly curated interiors that rival Saville Row. Tweedy graphite stone surfaces, crisp white linen, touches of smooth black leather and nubbly linen wall treatments. Simple and restrained, Mid-century and modern, allowing the seascape to take centre stage.
The forms are graphic and bold, the palette monochromatic with the occasional primary pop. This is an unfussy luxury, minimal in form and maximal in comfort. There is a fresh, clean, jauntiness about this space that ensures you’ll want to return again and again.
Safely nestled into the foothill of Cape Town’s spectacular Lions Head, a mere meander from Clifton’s five world-famous Blue Flag beaches, Number 4701 is what dreamy beach holiday memories are made.
Clifton is famously the most sought-after real estate in Africa. Tucked between Bantry Bay and Camps Bay, the area is relatively wind-free.
Five pristine pearly white beaches on your doorstep and a stone’s throw away from all that Cape Town has to offer. Glittering nightlife, world-class restaurants, breathtaking nature and maximum adventure for the thrill seeker.
This truly is a paradise playground for the most demanding global traveller.
Cape Town’s sunset strip – kick back, relax and watch the barefoot, bikini-bronzed world go by.
Together with its immaculate white sands and glistening water, their bronzing bodies and designer sunglasses grace Clifton’s 4th beach with sufficient glamour and eco-savvy to deserve not only the ‘see and be seen’ status it has acquired but its blue flag status as well. The beaches at Clifton are divided into four distinct coves by stretches of granite boulders and, whilst they may not be very imaginatively named, 1st, 2nd 3rd and 4th, their beauty makes names rather superfluous. Each of the beaches is reached by a flight of stairs down from the road on which parking can sometimes be extremely difficult. This doesn’t hinder the crowds during peak season or in the evening when throngs of people head down to Clifton to partake in traditional sundowners in the presence of one of Cape Town’s legendary sunsets.
The four beaches of Clifton are well protected from the notorious south-easterly and, whilst there is the occasional wave, most simply lap at the shoreline. Staying here often has the added bonus of quiet evenings as the throngs tend to head off just up the road to Camps Bay’s many restaurants, clubs and bars as Clifton offers little in the way of restaurants and has no shops to speak of.
Uber is readily available and the My Citi bus stop is about 100 meters from the apartment.
All over Cape Town, you’ll find paid parking structures, free street parking, and in the City Bowl and a few other areas, such as Sea Point, paid street parking. There are no parking meters, so when you see the “pay and display” parking sign, look for the parking attendant – or most likely they’ll find you. Parking is currently under R5 per 15 minutes. In areas where street parking is free, expect to be approached by “car guards,” who ask for a tip in exchange for watching over your car.
Housekeeping included according to the duration of your stay. Please enquire with your host on confirmation.
